My Condolences and other Random Thoughts

For STILL waiting for the chance to celebrate your birthday! Finally, something you all can't blame on me, cos I'm not in Singapore to begin with! heh.

Sorry (don't hate me oh curly haired one), I was desperate - am trying to help resuscitate this blog before ija comes along with her fire power to burn this place down.

Oh wait, I didn't realise she actually posted a resuscitory entry before mine. heh.

Erm... what to write... erm...

Did you guys hear about my new job? Yes? No?

Well, all the flirting around (yea right, more like pestering) finally paid off because I got offered a (minimum) 4 week stint as a Research Assistant with the Linguistics Department! Wheeee!!

I have no idea how much they're gonna pay me. I asked a friend how much she got paid in Singapore - part time, 8 dollars per hour she said. I was gobsmacked because minimum wage in the land of the koalas is TEN bucks an hour. Go figure.

Last time I was offered a job - telemarketing - it was 18 bucks an hour. Pray for me that I get a decent paypacket...

So... Bruce and I have been together for 18 months now. Okaylah, that's old news, seeing how it'll be 19 months in ten days. People are, more than ever, asking when we're getting hitched. Runi, how long were you with Asri for before you got engaged...?

Ija, did you manage to find your Jila sweets? I found them in the Asian supermarket the other day, so I think that confirms my theory that you can get it from Malaysia =p

Are you all gonna watch Star Wars Episode III? I want to go, so Bruce will probably bring me along with him. I shall pretend that I am being dragged to the movie, so that I can get him to pay for my ticket. Bwahaha.
